the
inn and spa at loretto is located in new mexico's cultural epicenter of santa fe and as i drove past the nearby plaza, the canyon road galleries and up the welcoming drive, i had much anticipation of walking this great city.
i was greeted at the drive and was invited inside as if to arrive at a friend's home - as i entered to check in to my guest room (134 total on property), i noticed the comfortable gathering place with fireplaces just off the lobby and great shopping to be checked out later down the corridor. more than 12,000 sq ft of total meeting space with 9,600 indoor and 2,835 being the largest meeting room accommodating 150 classroom. 75 attendees is the ideal meet and feed at this charming property and overflow accommodations are available at the
la fonda on the plaza right across the street that is also part of the h+g collection.
amenities include an outdoor heated pool, three on-property art galleries, award-winning
luminaria restaurant, the spa at loretto, and fitness center with 24-hour access. i had the pleasure of dining at luminaria and it was a foodie's place to go. absolutely delicious and very knowledgeable staff.
the
inn and spa at loretto is adjacent to the 131-year old loretto chapel which is known for its "miraculous staircase" - a spiral stairway built by a mysterious carpenter, with two 360-degree turns and no nails or screws (wooden pegs only) for support.
santa fe is america's oldest capital city and from the architecture, world-class dining, art galleries, to the beautiful serene mountains, this is a great place to take your next meeting. a walkable city that has everything your attendees are looking for to experience something special.
