vivian shaw, regional director of sales vivian joined the h+g team in may of 2007 as regional director of sales. vivian is located in the colorado rocky mountains and handles accounts regionally with a focus on colorado, minnesota and texas. after graduating with a finance and economics degree from the university of cincinnati, vivian moved west and began building her career in the hospitality industry. she comes to h+g with a solid background including 6 years managing hotel and conference operations and 6 years directing training and development within the industry. a hospitality sales veteran, she brings over 11 years of sales and marketing expertise to the h+g team. most recently, vivian worked with keystone resort and conference center handling large meetings for key accounts in the midwest. here she excelled in the incentive, corporate and association markets. prior to that, vivian was the director of sales for the vail resorts collection of properties in breckenridge where she focused primarily on colorado's front range market. vivian's clients often comment on her positive energy and the fact that she's "a real person" who sincerely cares about them personally and also the success of their meetings and incentives. you'll find vivian to be timely, attentive and proactive in her often times creative approach to serving the needs of her clients and industry partners. vivian is active in many professional organizations such as, asae, mpi, and pcma. she also enjoys volunteering for her children's many activities such as team summit ski team and assisting within their classroom as time allows. vivian and her husband, ed, have two children, tyler and andrew who keep them busy with some of the more traditional things such as soccer, baseball, basketball and tae kwon do. additionally, vivian and her family enjoy mountain biking, alpine and nordic skiing, hiking and travel. next time you talk to vivian, ask about her family's latest adventure!
