terri woodin has been the regional director of sales for our california office since august 2005. terri joined us from destination hotels & resorts, the inverness hotel and conference center, where she was national sales manager handling various markets including the association market, accounting/consulting vertical markets, and the midwest market during the past three years and she presented the entire portfolio of 25+ hotels to her clients. prior to dh&r she worked with keystone resort for six years where she developed the neglected west coast market into the top producing market for the property. focusing on california and traveling in market so often that her clients thought she lived there. terri's hospitality career started with five years at marriott. she graduated from michigan state university's college of business in the school of hotel, restaurant, and institutional management and studied culinary at ecole' hotelier in lausanne, switzerland. after school, it was off to walt disney world, and then moving on to various positions with dh&r in chicago, westin in chicago, and ritz carlton in phoenix. terri and her husband don share a love for food, wine, skiing, horses, and the mountains. they have two daughters, kathryn julianna and kristina marie who keep them busy with irish step dancing, piano and school. |
